I'll be honest, I'm a slow reader, but I read this book in a single day! I sincerely hope that you read this book and enjoy it immensely like I did. She lives in Tacoma, Washington, with her husband and three demanding cats. However, it sends a great message that very much applies to real life. From 1 New York Times-bestselling author Marissa Meyer, comes a high-stakes world of adventure, passion, danger, and betrayal. Marissa Meyer is the New York Times-bestselling author of The Lunar Chronicles. I also really love the friendship and chemistry between the two main characters, and Nova's inner-conflict she can't decide between being loyal to the Anarchists that raised her and getting revenge on the Council, but also can't help but move closer to the bond between her Renegade team and(especially) Adrian.Ī few things to note are that there is a single swear word(a-) used only once and that there is violence throughout it (though not shown in a way that is scary). Throughout the book you jump back and forth(in 3rd person) between Nova(a villain) and Adrian(a renegade), and you really get a taste of both sides of the equation. After showing Nova Artino's life in the Age of Anarchy, there is some violence with the assassination of her family, which leads to show how Nova turned into Nightmare. It starts off briefly explaining to you about the prodigies and other important things to know, setting down the base of the story. It is so amazing how the author crafts the story, feeding the words steadily but always keeping you at a cliffhanger.
